Launching My Global Business and Economics Career The world is a crazy place and I’m ready to take it by the horns! In this paper I will outline my plan of attack for my economic career. All from who gave me inspiration, the company I choose to climb their managerial ladder, and the country I would need to move to, so my dreams and goals of global business can turn into a reality! Business is described as all profit seeking activities and enterprises that provide goods and services necessary to an economic system. I’m going to compare my skills to the great Benjamin Bernake who is the chairman of the Federal Reserve System (“the Fed”) and also serves as chairman of the Federal Open Market Committee, the fed’s main agency for monetary policymaking. Then I’m going to go into a little bit of detail about Samsung one of the global leaders in the production of many of the products we use today. Samsung’s Main Office is located in Seoul, South Korea so finally I will give you a little bit of information on Korea’s culture and economy. I can’t wait to get started!!!! Benjamin Bernake was 2009 Time Magazines person of the year. He has faced a few controversies but seemed to handle himself well though. He is very educated in the business and economic world from a number of different universities and colleges. And has a great grasp of what is going on in the world. I feel I need to add further education to my qualifications. I realize that education is key and you can never know too much. I plan on going on from YVCC to a bigger University to further my education to better prepare me for the busy economic world we live in today. For over 70 years Samsung has been dedicated to making a better world though diverse businesses that today span advanced technology. Samsung Electronics, leads the global market in high-tech electronics manufacturing and digital media. Through innovative, reliable products and services, talented people, a responsible approach to business and global citizenship, and collaboration their partners and customer, Samsung is taking the world in imaginative new directions. Samsung has an ever changing supply and demand top deal with due to the numerous products and services that they offer. Supply is willingness and ability of sellers to provide goods and services. Demand is the willingness and ability of buyers to purchase goods or services. Korea is a great country for experiencing new and exciting things. Korea is also one of the fastest growing economic countries in the world. Korea is an ever changing country which is gaining experience in global business at a very rapid rate. Korea’s population is 48,860,500 as of 2012. Some of their imports which are foreign goods and services purchased by domestic customers include machinery, electronics and electronic equipment, oil, steel, transport equipment, organic chemicals, and plastics. Korea’s exports which are domestically produced goods and services sold in other countries include semiconductors, wireless telecommunications equipment, motor vehicles, computers, steel, ships, and petrochemicals.
