Task 1- Understand inclusive learning and teaching in lifelong learning
This briefing document is for staff development and is designed to support staff to have a better understanding of inclusive learning and teaching in lifelong learning. At the end of the briefing session participants will be aware of what inclusive learning involves, how to motivate and engage students and establish ground rules. Participants will be learning the importance of providing students with constructive feedback to assist with motivating their learning. These ground rules will provide a safe environment for the student, the teacher and other road users or pedestrians. They will be discussed and agreed with the student and their reason fully explained. The playing of audio at an acceptable level can be renegotiated following an assessment that the student has reached a suitable level of competence and could be included as a motivating factor.
I would provide feedback to the student during and after each lesson. I would begin each lesson with a reflection of the previous lesson and discuss with the student any issue that they felt
