Introduction

To start things off, I would like you to know me a little bit more. My name is Andre, Andre Alpert. I am 13 years old in seventh grade and I’m one of Ms. Alvarez’s students this year. I decided to choose this quote, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity”-Albert Einstein, not only because it’s written by a genius and an American icon, Mr. Einstein, but also because of how this can apply to much more than just our phones. This quote can be applied to almost anything ever made ever discovered in this world. And I don’t think that I’m the only one who agrees with this quote. I hope whoever reads this with their ELECTROIC DEVICE can understand what I mean when he said that our technology has exceeded our humanity.

Virtual Classes? Robots as Teachers?

That is what Albert Einstein feared would happen and in fact is a now reality. In one of his most known quotes in which he stated, “It has become appallingly obvious that our technology has exceeded our humanity.” We rely too much on our electronic devices and computers like I am using right now to write this that we don’t go outside and play and just be kids. That is a main contribution to why about 1/3 of Americans become or are obese. They play around with their phones and it is now like very obvious that our technology is at a whole other level to that compared of our humanity.

There is a difference between real life and fake

I have some friends that I can truly say are very talented. On the Xbox in their 2k basketball games but in contrast in real life they can’t even make a lay-up. All they do for like 3-4 hours a day is play video games like nonstop. To them it is addicting and fun but they don’t know how much it’s hurting them. And how does this apply to Albert’s quote?
